Much like Bugsy’s Cocktail Bar in Prague, Tretter’s Bar is an upscale cocktail establishment with a high class clientele. The overall scene at Tretter’s is that of an old Jazz era bar and the staff does their best to sell this image to people. But what really makes Tretter’s stand out are the drinks that they serve.
Even though Tretter’s Bar has only been open for a short while, they have already developed a reputation for making some of the best cocktails and driest martinis known to Prague. That’s why people come from all over to visit Tretter’s and try their famous mixed drinks.
The people who make these wonderful drinks in the bartenders also add to the bar’s reputation too. Tretter’s bartenders are among the best in the city and they’re all business since they don’t juggle bottles or do tricks; they just make your drinks as good as possible.
Unfortunately one of the downsides to Tretter’s Bar is that the bartenders and certain clients seem to be more important than a lot of the other visitors. In fact, some people consider Tretter’s to be quite snobby on certain days or hours of the week and this certainly detracts from the otherwise wonderful atmosphere. Plus it can be hard to find a place to sit on crowded weekends.
However, cocktail lovers shouldn’t let the negatives deprive them from visiting one of the best bars in the city and from sampling some of the best mixed drinks in all of Europe. The music here is great and Tretter’s is just a good place overall to relax.
