Palac Akropolis, also called the Acropolis Palace, is a building of many functions. It serves as a radio headquarters, a theater, a restaurant, an information center, and – what many ultimately know it as – a club. It was actually built earlier in the 20th century when the Czech Republic was independent. It was mostly used as a biograph. Throughout the years it has served many purposes, but each of those purposes has been for cultural reasons. Now, many individuals living and visiting Prague consider the Palac Akropolis a must-see when in the area.

During your visit, you will find that it is both multicultural and multifunctional. Mainly because it is a place in which people have fun and young artists express themselves. You can see this around the first stairway in the foyer. This is where artists from the four corners of the earth have displayed some of the most amazing and strangest works. Many visitors find themselves observing these works as they make their way about the building to enjoy great dancing and stage performances. The drinks are reasonably priced and it is always hopping with people.

The Palac Akropolis is easy to identify, but if you need to know the exact address, you can find it located at Kubelikova 1548/27 130 00 Prague 3 between the Vinohrady district and Zizkov, that particular location plays in its advantage. Of course, you can drive yourself or choose to take a bus to a stop that is near. There is plenty of public transportation, whether by train, bus, or subway that can take you to your destination. You also do not want to make the trip to the Palac Akropolis and realize they’re closed. That is why it is important to know the business hours and those hours are:

Mon – Fri – 10.00 – 24.00
Sat – Sun – 16.00 – 24.00
Holiday opening hours
3.7.- 31.8 (daily) – 17.00 – 02.00

You want to make sure you make it on time in order to enjoy the great food such as buffalo wings, pork cutlets, Mexican-style soups, and potato pancakes. After enjoying great cuisine, you can then check out the theater bar and have a blast enjoying beer and wine, while dancing to live music. You can dance in the techno hall, enjoy some jazz in the jazz hall, or embark upon some party dancing to get your juices flowing.

Once you are there, there is no cover at the bar, but you will need to pay $2.50 to $10 to get into the live concerts. They do not accept credit cards, so be sure to come equipped with cash. If you would like to know more about Palac Akropolis, you can visit their website at http://www.palacakropolis.cz, shoot them an e-mail at info@palacakropolis.cz, or give them a call at +420 296 330 911. Once you have everything planned out, you’ll find that you’ll have a great time visiting the Palac Akropolis.
