Good Fast and Cheap
People often speak of the idea that there are generally three things you want when trying to make something happen: you want it to be good, fast and cheap. However, they also say that the truth is that you can only have two of these things exist at once and that you cannot have the third. For instance, if you are remodeling your kitchen, it can be good and fast, but it won’t be cheap. Or, it can be fast and cheap, but it won’t be good. Or, it can even be good and cheap, but it won’t be fast. You can imagine how you could apply this theory to nearly anything.

Prague’s Pride: Zahrada v Opere

Unforgettable.  That is Zahrada v Opere , a cozy but elegant restaurant in Prague’s upscale cultural district.  The place is a perfect oasis for travelers who wish to imbibe the best of Prague’s eclectic culture. It is also a perfect setting for romantic dinners and weddings, and a wholesome place for family parties.  Inside, the elegant interiors match the world class fusion cuisine and excellent wines, which are among the best in this part of
New Town.
The restaurant on Legerova 75 is a stone's throw away from the State Opera, Museum Metro and the National Museum. Located behind the Radio Free Europe it makes it a convenient stop to unwind after an afternoon at the museums or after a show at the nearby opera as it is open 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. daily.  There is live music Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sushi on Tuesdays and Saturdays; indeed, there is a choice for diners at Zahrada v Opere.
The bar offers beer and the best red wines from Moravia, Italy, Chile, America, and Africa. Other offerings include Muller Thurgau, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, sparkling champagne and Botrytis sweet wines.
The Zahrada v Opere chefs prepare the best rabbit ragout, mussel soup, roast duck, chicken breast camembert and hot peppers, edible flower decorated meals, fillet of salmon simmered in champagne, and the best sushi. For desserts, the chefs whip up the creamiest crème brulee, chocolate cakes, and ice creams. Italian food connoisseurs can have main courses, which are available and priced at $6.25 to $22 – but this may change any time.  Another delicious treat, a long stemmed rose for lady patrons. How to get to Zahrada v Opere?  Use the subway or tram; it is much cheaper than the taxis.  But reservations have to be in advance as the place is always packed with both locals and tourists.
Credit cards accepted:  Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club.

The restaurant is also dubbed the safest restaurant in the world
because of the heavily armed policemen guarding the Radio Free
Europe nearby. The photo shows the entrance to the restaurant
which  belies the romantic setting inside.
