For almost the entirety of its impressive ten year existence, Club Mecca has been essentially synonymous with the exciting, exotic nightlife found in Prague. What once was a fabric hall has now been turned into one of the most celebrated clubs in all of Prague. One of the most compelling features about the club is its design. This is not just a one floor club with a smoky bar at one end – Club Mecca has two different levels; the main club being found on the lower level, and an attractive café bar on the upper level. The café specializes in their meals featuring fish.
Decorative art, including sculptures and a live exotic aquarium, can be found on the upper café level of Mecca, where many people enjoy a relaxing culinary experience. Below, the dark club comes to life with various lights and pulsating music. World renowned disc jockeys play the House music, probably that for which the club is best known.
Mecca has no formal dress code and visitors can enjoy a variety of fashion genres assembled by the club’s guests. Many celebrities have been known to frequent this enticing club – including Hollywood actor Wesley Snipes - and, in part due to this, prices for the club are considered to be on the high end of traditional standard pricing. Entry fees for Club Mecca range from 200 to 1200 CZK, depending on what is going on that night.
