Featuring separate bar and club areas on multiple levels, longtime downtown Prague hotspot Batalion Music Pub also has an internet café and hosts ge Polo’s intense collection of rock star portraits in the gallery. The club also offers table soccer, flippers, and TVs to catch a game.
Originally a hard rock club featuring lots of live music in the nineties and into the earlier part of this decade, Batalion still rocks hard to DJs spinning everything from disco to rock to classic hard rock favorites. These days, one or two live acts a month take the stage, set in the center of the zero floor.
The service is excellent, and the chill underground rock atmosphere is a great place to get together with friends over a beer or to dance the night away, or nurse the front end of your hangover over one last drink as you watch the sun come up.
Batalion offers an assortment of bottled and on-tap beers, wines, cocktails. For the non-drinker, coffees, teas, juices, energy drinks, and Pepsi products are available. No food is served.
The club is easily accessible by Metro. Take Metro A (Green) or Metro B (Yellow) to Mustek and turn left on Devacateho osmeho fijna. The club will be on your right, just before Perlova. If you’re walking, turn left at the bottom of Wenceslas Square, and the club will be on your right.
